About 8v8 soccer
Eight-a-side is used by some leagues as a step between seven and nine. The extra outfield player lets a team keep two strikers or a third defender without leaving a hole elsewhere, so coaches have real choices about how attacking or cautious to be.
Who plays it: commonly around under-10 and under-11, depending on the league. The field: A medium field, between the seven-a-side and nine-a-side sizes. Age groups and field sizes vary from league to league, so check your own league's rules.

Want it filled in for you?
The free SOXY app does the parts a web page cannot. It keeps your roster, knows which players have said they are coming, and fills all four quarters so playing time comes out even. It rotates the goalkeeper, lets you drag players between positions, saves a lineup for every game, and prints this same sheet with the field, both coaches and the referees already on it.
