Build fair lineups in a minute
A lineup for every quarter, on a pitch, with playing time shared evenly and a clean sheet to print.
Lineups are the hardest admin job in youth soccer
Working out who plays where in each quarter, and making sure no child sits out more than their share, is a puzzle most coaches solve on the back of an envelope the night before. Then two players do not show up and the plan falls apart.
A pitch, four quarters and your roster
In SOXY a lineup belongs to a game. Pick the game size, from 5v5 up to 11v11, choose a formation, and you get a pitch with a jersey for each position and a bench underneath. Tap a position to pick a player, or drag one jersey onto another to swap them. Tabs along the top take you through the four quarters.
Next to every benched player is a count of the quarters they have played, so you can see at a glance who is due a turn.
Auto-fill that shares playing time
Tap Auto-fill and SOXY builds all four quarters for you. It uses the players available for that game, makes sure nobody sits a second time before everyone has sat once, and rotates the goalkeeper. Change anything you like afterwards, or refill a single quarter and leave the rest alone.
For the next game, "same as last game" copies your previous lineup as a starting point.
Print it for the sideline
One tap opens a print-ready sheet with all four quarters, the bench for each, the field and both coaches. It prints on a single landscape page. Head coaches decide whether lineups are visible to the whole team or only to coaches.

Questions
Which game sizes are supported?
Every common youth format: 5v5, 6v6, 7v7, 8v8, 9v9, 10v10 and 11v11, each with several formations to choose from.
How does auto-fill decide who plays?
It spreads playing time as evenly as the numbers allow. With a squad up to twice the size of the team on the field, every player gets at least two quarters, and nobody sits twice before everyone has sat once.
Can parents see the lineup?
That is the head coach's choice. By default lineups are visible to coaches only; a setting shares them with the whole team.
Can I print the lineup?
Yes. The print sheet shows all four quarters with the bench for each, and fits on one landscape page.
