Made for volunteer-run soccer

AYSO teams are run by parents who volunteered. The coach has a day job, the team parent is organising snacks between school runs, and everyone is doing their best with a group text and the region's website. SOXY gathers the schedule, RSVPs, team messages, lineups and snack turns into one free app so the admin takes minutes instead of evenings.

Everyone plays: lineups by quarter

AYSO teams are expected to give every child meaningful time on the field, and games are split into quarters to make that workable. SOXY's lineup builder is designed around exactly that: a separate lineup for each of the four quarters, a running count of quarters played beside every name, and an auto-fill that shares time evenly and will not sit a player twice before everyone has sat once.

It covers the small-sided formats younger divisions play as well as full-sided games, and prints a one-page sheet for the sideline. You can also use the free lineup sheet maker without an account.

Snacks, RSVPs and the weekly message

A snack slot sits on every game, so families can claim a week or the team parent can rotate through the roster automatically. RSVPs show which players are coming, by child rather than by parent, and feed straight into the lineup. The team board replaces the reply-all email: post once, and comments stay with that post.

Schedule and standings from MatchTrak

Some AYSO areas publish schedules, results and standings on MatchTrak. If yours does, connect your team once and SOXY keeps your games, scores, standings and opponents' jersey colours up to date. It also shows your team's referee and volunteer points where the league reports them. Regions that use other systems can add their games by hand; everything else works the same.

Getting an AYSO team started

  1. Download SOXY and create your team.
  2. Connect your MatchTrak team link if your region uses it, or add games yourself.
  3. Send the invite link to your families.
  4. Build your first lineup and let families sign up for snacks.
